The contract was awarded to D & H Perry Inc. , dba Perry Electric. The _____ work is now completed. RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt a resolution accepting the contract work. BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. DISCUSSION: Perry Electric completed the installation of the traffic signal at East "H" Street and Paseo Del Rey on April 29, 1987, and the modification of the traffic signal at "H" Street and Hilltop Drive on April 24, 1987. A final inspection of both locations was made on May 1 , 1987, and all work was found to be completed in accordance with the contract plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Authorized Expenditures: A. "H" Street & Hilltop Drive ($30,829 original contract + 10% contingencies) $33,912.00 B. East "H" Street & Paseo Del Rey 55,242.00 ($51 ,325 original contract + 8% contingencies) Subtotal $89,154.00 Final Expenditures: A. "H" Street & Hilltop Drive $30,886.28 B. East "H" & Paseo Del Rey 51 ,325.00 Subtotal $82,211 .28 Balance of Authorized Expenditure $ 6,942.72 Page 2, Item 7 Meeting Date 5/26/87 Staff Time from Point of Inception to April 9, 1987: A.
