Subject: Chula Vista LCP Amendment 1-86 .
Dear Mr . Desrochers :
I am writing this letter to officially inform you of the
Commission' s approval of your Local Coastal Program Amendment
No. 1-86 on November 13 , 1986, at the Commission' s hearing in
San Francisco. I also wanted to express my appreciation for
your cooperative attitude which, I ' m sure, resulted in the
smooth hearing process before the Commission.
As you know, the preliminary recommendation and findings before
the Commission on that day were for denial of the Amendment,
which was approved subsequent to the change in staff ' s
recommendation to approval . As such, the Commission had no
written findings for approval . Therefore findings will be taken
back to the Commission at a later date.
We will certainly notify you of scheduling of any future
hearings where the Amendment ' s findings will be discussed, and
we will send copies of the staff report on the findings to you
for your review. If you have any questions, please contact
myself or Paul Webb at the District Office.
Sincerely,
