HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1990-15750 NOT APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 15750 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING REALLOCATION OF PROGRAM INCOME FROM HOUSING REHABILIATION TO THE PARK DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AT ORANGE AND FOURTH AVENUES The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista operates a Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP), the purpose of which is to provide loans to low-income households for home improvements; and WHEREAS, the CHIP program is funded by an allocation of Redevelopment funds and by a Revolving Fund sustained by program income from the repayment of Redevelopmerit and CDBG loans; and WHEREAS, the City has received program income from CDBG Housing Rehabilitation activity which will not be needed to fund housing rehabilitation during 1990-91; and WHEREAS, the City has held a public hearing on proposed revisions to the 1990-91 Final Statement and received recommendations regarding said revisions. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista authorizes the transfer of $235,000 from the Housing Rehabilitation revolving fund acount to the Park Development Project at Orange and Fourth Avenues.
