All of the Easterly Half of Lot 11 and that portion
of the Easterly. Half of Lot 10, in Quarter Section 148, of N;
Chula Vista, in the City of Chula Vista, County of San
Diego, State of California, according to the Map thereof
No.505, filed in the Office of the Recorder of said San
Diego County, March 13, 1888, lying Northerly of the
• Northerly boundary of Custom Builders No43, according to
. . the Map thereof No.3260, filed in the Office of the Recorder
• of said San Diego County, July 5, 1955.
EXCEPTING: From the above desc .bed property that
portion thereof described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 21, of
said Custom Builders No.3; thence South 71°174 550 West
along the Northerly lines of Lots 21 and 22 of said Sub-
division, 213.36 feet to the Southerly terminus of the
Easterly line of Lot 0A" of said Subdivision; thence North
180444 154* West along said Easterly line and along the
. Northerly prolongation thereof, 204.00 feet more or less
to the Northerly line of the Southerly 104.04 feet of said
Lot 11 in,.Quartersection 148; thence Easterly along said
Northerly line, 213.36 feet, more or less, to the Easterly
line of said Lot 11; thence South 180 434 20" East along
the Easterly lines of said Lots 11 and 10, a distance' of
204.00 feet, more or less, to the point of begirring.
WHEREAS the Second Party is desirous of supplying such assurances,
NOW, THr'REEic tE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY and between the City of
Chula Vista, and'Second Party as follows:
1. Said Second Party agrees to undertake and completes and to pay
for all labor and materials in connection therewith, within a period of
365 days from the date hereof, all the necessary work and installa-
tion of improvements in the hereinabove described subdivision in full
conformity with the ordinances of the City of Chula Vista, the laws of
the State of California and the directions of proper officials of the
• City of Chula Vista, California as may be applicable thereto. Said
improvements are more particularly described as follows:

The Second Party further agrees to indemnify, protect and hold
harmless the said City of Chula Vista from any and all claims of
liability for personal injury, property damage, labor or material claims

which may be made against said City by reason of said work and instn1la-
tion of improvements as herein provided.
2. As a guarantee and as security for its fu�z and feLthful per-
formance in complying with all the requirements for the ccanptetion of

said subdivision as aforesaid, the said Second Party shall deliver to the
City of Chula Vista, upon the execution of this agreement, a good and

3. As a guarantee and as security for the payment of ail material
