The aVetMlent between the County of San Diego, hereinafter
referred to aa the Cotalty, and the City of Chula Vista, hweinafter
referred to as the City, dated June 12t 1956, relating to the Cityts
permitting the use by the County of the Cityis potui facilities as
shelters for the impounding of dogs, la hereby reformed by in
to Paregraph No. 4 as follows:
4, In emsideratiat of ay ing of the foregoing facilities
and =erten by the City, the Cminty shall pay to the City toward
the salary of one additional employee to be employed by the City
at Its Pound the An . or $256.00 per month for the months July to
• September* 1956, inclusive; the sum of $269,00 per month for the
=the October, 1955 to March 1957, inclusive; the a= of 0282.00
per month for the months April 1957 to June 1957, inclusive, making
a total a= of $3,228.00 for the fiscal year erAding June 30, 1957;
and the Coady shall reimburse the City for Pound exPensee far
dogs impounded pursuant to said Ordinance No, 1031 (New Series)*
• as amended or hereafter amended, at the rate of 500 per dog per day,
or fraction thereof, Or if the actual expense at such care cede
the sum of 500 per day, the County shall reimburse the City for mach
actual expense, but not to exceed 75 per dog per day. Pound ect-
penses as that term is used in this agreement shall include confine-
ment; reeding; detruction,5 dispooal or sale; publio utility ex-
penses; and cost of receiving and transmitting; mesaages regarding
auch dogs, .
