RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING TENTATIVE
SUBDIVISION MAP ENTITLED Whittington Subdivision No. 4
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: • WHEREAS there has been presented-to this
Council, after approval and recommendation of the City Planning
Commission of the City of- Chula Vista that certain tentative
subdivision map known as _ Whitti..nj ton Subdivision No. 4 •
SECTION 2: That the City Council does hereby approve
said tentative subdivision map in accordance with the recom-
mendations of said Planning Commission and does hereby author-
ize the following changes, additions and corrections to be
made to said map:

Gentlemen:
At the :Planning Commission meeting of April 2, the tentative
map of Whittington's Subdivision, Unit #4, was approved, sub-
ject to the, following conditions:.
a.. That a 1' lot, on the easterly terminus Whitney, be ded-
icated to the city. -
b. That monolithic clirb, `gutter and sidewalk not be constructed,
and that public improvements be approved by the Engineering
Department when re-submitted.
c. That the setbacks be approved as shown except that a 25' set-
back be maintained on First rather than a 20' one.
d. That a 6' easement be dedicated for utilities on lot lob. ,
e. Show typical sections on Cul-de-sacs. °
f. Curb height to.be •8" on First Avenue.
g. Whitney Street tentative grades are not necessarily approved,
until further study. -
h. All improvements are subject to Engineering Department approval.
The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council that a 40' radius
temporary turn-around be approved at_the easterly end of Whitney, rather
than the required 50' radius.
