A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ,_
URGING ADOPTION OF CALIFORNIA
SENATE BILL NO.28, ASSEMBY-BILL
NO. 3 AND ASSEMBLY BILL NO.
36 TO PROVIDE FOR A COMPLETE AND
PROPERLY STAIRWD Ow`TCB O '
PHYSICAL PLANNING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the State of California for a number of years has not
had a State Planning Agency to properly coorelate the manifold state
and local activities and physical development during this period of
critical rapid growth; and
WHERAS, a State Office of Physical Planning is needed to
guide, to assist and to coordinate the plans of the various state,
regional, county and local planning agencies; and
'eH. , +AS, there is no state agency empowered to receive
Federal Planning assistance on behalf of the local planning agencies;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of, Ghula
Vista does hereby urge the adoption of Senate Bill No. 28, Assembly
Bill No. 3, and Assembly Bill No. 36 to provide for a complete and
properly staffed office of Physical Planning.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 27th day of March, 1956, by
the following vote, to-wit:
