NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the proposed annexation to, and incorporl- ation and inclusion in, the City of Chula Vista and in the Chula Vista Elementary School District, of certain uninhabited territory in the County of Sala Diego contiguous to the City of Chula Vista. The boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed to the City of Chula Vista are more particularly dsacribed as follows: ( • • - 1 �• • PROPOSED VISTA HILL ANNEXATION TO CHULA VISTA All that portion of Quarter-Sections 126, 134, and 135 of Rancho de la ;Nacion, as shown on Map No. 166 on file in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State of California, being In the unin- corporated area of San Diego County, State of California, described as follows: 1 . Commencing at a point which Is the Southeast corner of �auarter- Section 135 as shown on Map No. 2441 of UECKER 'S SUBDIVISION NO. #3; 2. Thence South 70° 59' 00" r'est, 30.00 feet along the NORTH LINE CHULA VISTA CITY as shown on said map of UECKER 'S SUBDIVISION NO. 3 to the Intersection with a line which is parallel to and distant 10.00 feet v"esteriy at right angles from the Westerly Right_ofM`'ay line of County Road Survey 670, known as Edgemere Avenue, or file in the office of the County Surveyor of San Diego County; 3. Thence South 41° 171 East along a line which is parallel to the centerline of County Road Survey 670 (between Station 1+58.25 and, Station 3+ 53.08/ to an intersection with the Northerly line of the Southerly 187.0 feet of the Southwest Quarter of Quarter- Section 126; 25. Thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Southerly 187.0 feet to the Northeasterly corner of a parcel of land owned by Frank Gt and Rose Helen FO\Y'LER , recorded in Book 5772, cage 2 2, in he County *ecorderfs Office of San Diego County, California; 26. Thence Southerly- along the Easterly boundary of said FOWLER 'S land to an intersection with the Southerly line of the Southw Quarter of Quarter-Section 126; 27 . Thence Westerly along the Southerly line of the Southwest Quarter of Quarter-Section 126 to the point of beginning. That said Territory is hereby designated as "Vista Hill Annexation". NOTICE IS FURTFL' GIVEN that on the 8th day of .ay • 1.256,, at the hour of ...� �...._7 ,per, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall., Civic Center, Chula Vista, California, at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City, any person owning real property within emit territory proposed to be annexed and having any object .one to the proposed annexation, may appear before the City Council and show Cause Vey such terri- tory should not be so annexed. At any time not later than the said hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, any comer of property within the territory pro` posed to be annexed may file written protest against the proposed azmexa • tion. Such protest shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of the property affected thereby and the description and area of such property • in general terns. NOTICE L'S FURTHER GIVEN that proceedings are hereby initiated by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, and that the said City Council de- sires said annexation for the following reasons: 1. The uninhabited territory proposed to be annexed is contiguous to the City of Chula Vista, and in the path of the natural expansion of the residential district of the said City. 2. The said City Council desires the development of this uninhabited territory, so far as possible, to conform to the minir n standards established • by the subdivision, sanitation and building ordinances of the City of Chula Vista. r 3 as r y ' r 3. The said City Council desires to prevent the development of sub-standard Kfringe" areas along the boundaries of the said City. BE IT FU-11 'wa- RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of said City be, and • he is hereby directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be published at least twice, but not oftener than once a week, to-wit: On the 5t th day of April; 1956 a and on the 12th day of April, 1956 , in the Chula Vista Star,a'news- paper of general. circulation published in said City, and also in a news- paper of general circulation published outside of the City but in the County in which is located the territory proposed to be annexed; said publication to be complete at least 20 days prior to the date set for the hearing. Said City Clerk shall also cause written notice of such proposed motion to be mailed to each person to whom land within the territory proposed to be annexed is assessed in the last equalized county assessment roll available on the date these proms are initiated, at the address shown on said assessment roll, or as lalown to said Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and the designation of the lands in which he has any interest, either legal or equitable, with said Clerk. In the event any land within the territory proposed to be annexed is owned by the County of San Diego said City Clark shall also cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the Board of Supervisors of such County.
