SCHO L DISTRICT - • IN THE Coil OF SAN DIEGO, S MB.:OF CALIFORNIA, TO BE l?am AS HILLTOP VILLAGE ANNEXATION ri THE CITY COIAVCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: That pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Annexation of Uri inhabited Territory Acts, of 1939t NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the proposed annexation to, and 3ncorpor- ation and inclusion in, the City of Chula. Vista and In the Chula Vista Elementary School District, of certain uninhabited territory in the County of San Diego contiguous to the City of Chula Vista. The boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed to the City of Chula Vista are more particularly described as folly s • • • -- An uninhabited port Lon of the unincorporated area- of the County of San Diego, State of California, being a portion of Quarter Section 113 of Rancho de la Nacion, according to Map No. 166, filed May 110 1869, in the Office of the' County Recorder, County of San Diego, and more particularly described as follows: . Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of Quarter Section 113, being also the centerline intersection of Hilltop Drive with "ate Street and County Road Survey No, 879, thence along the Northerly line of the Southerly half of Quarter Section 113 North 71 * 15' 47" East, 40.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, being also a point on the boundary of the City of Chula Vista. 2. Thence North 71° R5' 47" East 1291 ,07 feet along said City bound- ary and along the centerline of Quarter Section 113 to the East line of the Southwest Quarter of said Quarter Section 113; 3, Thence continuing along said City boundary and along said East line South 18° 19' 19 East, 30.00 feet; 4. Thence North 71° 15' 47" East 332.78 feet along said City boundary and along the Southerly easement line of County Road Survey No. 879, to the Westerly Boundary line of Dalseth Hills Unit No. 1 Subdivision, Map No, 3243; and an angle point in said City boundary as established by Ordinance No. 507, effective February 14, 1955. 5. Thence South 18° 17 ' 21 " East 1289. 54 feet along said westerly boundary and said City boundary to the South line of Quarter Section 113; 6. Thence leaving said City boundary South 71" 10' 30" West 332.05 feet along the South line of Quarter Section 113, to the Northeast corner of that annexation known as Country Club Villas No. 2; Ordinance No, . 471 effective May 5, 1953, 7. Thence South 74'° 10' 30" West 664. 10 feet more or less along said Southerly line of Quarter Section 113, being also the Northerly line of Country Club Villas Annexation No.2 to an angle point therein; S. Thence leaving said City boundary, and continuing South 71° 10' 30" East 624. 10 feet more or less along the Southerly line of Quarter Sec- tion 113 to a point on the original Easterly boundary of said City boundary. 9. Thence North 18° 27' West 1322.43 feet along said Easterly boundary to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINslINC.3. That said Tsrritor7 is hereby designated as .. 2 .. `r F 411 • .r • • . , NOTICE IS FURTH'IZ GIVEN that on the 8th day of May at the hour of 7:00 P.M in the Council Chambers in the City Hail, Civic Center, Chula Vista, California, at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City, any person owning real property within such territory proposed to be annexed and having any objections to the proposed "annexatdon,'may appear before the City Council and show came why such terri- tory should not be so annexed, At any time not later than the said hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, any owner of property within the territory pro- posed to be annexed may fits written protest against the proposed annexa- tion* Such protest shall state the name or names of the caner or owners of the property affected thereby and the description and area of such property in general terns. • • NOTICE T,5 FURTHER GIVEN that proceedings are hereby initiated by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, and that the said City Council de- sires said annexation for the following reasons: 1. The uminbabited territory proposed to be annexed is contiguous to the City of Chula Vista, and in the path of the natural expansion of the residential district of the said City. 2. The said City Council desires the development of this iminbabited territory, so far as possible, to conform to the minimum standards established by the subdivision, sanitation and building ordinances of the City of Chula Vista. - 3 " • • i= • 3. BE IT FU•a "fir RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of said City be, and he is hereby directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be publi bed at least twice, but not oftener than once a week, to-wits On the 5th„_ day of April, 19.56_, and on the 12 t h _ day of • April, 1956 9 in the Chula Vista Star, " ews- • paper of genera circulation published in said City, and also in a news • paper of general circulation published outside of the City but in the County in which is located the territory proposed to be annexed; said publication to be complete at least 20 days prior to the date set for the hearing. • • • Said City Clerk shall also cause written notice of such proposed . annexation to be mailed to each person to whom laud within the territory • proposed to be annexed is assessed in the last evolved county assessment roll available on the date these proceedings are initiated, at the adc1sxss shown on said assessment roll, or as known to said Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and the designation of the lands in which he has any interest, either legal or equitable, with said Clerk. In the • event any land within the territory proposed to be annexed is owned 'by the County of San Diego said City Clerk shall also cause written notice o£ such • proposed annexation to be mailed to the Board of Supervisors of sudh County. The notices above referred to shall be given not less than 20 days before the said public hearing on the proposed annexation.
