Beginning at the inters,eet ion of the ' esterly line of the existing Industrial Boulevard with the Southerly boundary of the City of Chula Vista, said lndu.sttial Boulevard being the Northerly prolongation of Industrial Boulevard according to the Map thereof No. 2119 filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County: • 2. Thence Southerly along said "esterly line of Industrial Boulevard to the Northeasterly corner of Block "A" of Harborside Unit No. 2 in said County of San Diego, according to the Map thereof No. 2119 filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County July 9, 1928; 3, Thence South 18° 24! 22" East along said Westerly line of Industrial Boulevard as shown on said Map of Harborside Unit No. 2. 2696031 feet, more or less, to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of 10.00 feet, said curve forming the Southeast corner of Lot 30 In Block "S" of said Harborside Unit No, 2. 4, Thence Southwesterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 114° 55 ' 53", a distance of 20.06 feet to the Northerly line of Palomar Street (formerly Eighth Street ) as shown on said Map of Harborside Unit No.2; 5. Chambers in the City Hall, Civic Center, Chula Vista, California, at a regular meeting of the G3ty Council of said City, any person owning real property within such .territorY proposed to be annexed and having any objections to the proposed motion, may appear before the City Council and show cause why such tetri• tory ishouid not be so annexed. ' At any time not later than the said hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, any owner of property within the territory pro- pbsed to be annexed may file written protest against the proposed annexa- tion. Such protest shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of D the property affected thereby and the description and area of such property general terms. • • NOTICE IS FURTHat GIVEN that proceedings are hereby initiated by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, and that the said City Council de-- sires said annexation for the following reasone 1. The uninhabited territory proposed to be annexed is contiguous . to the City of Chula Vista, and in the path of the natural expansion of the residential district of the said City. 2. The said City Council desires the development of this uninhabited territory, so far as possible, to conform to the t1nn-emm standards established by the subdivision, sanitation and building ordinances of the City of Chula Vista. _ 3 - 3. The said City Council desires to prevent the development of • sub-standard ',fringe" areas along the boundaries of the said City. BE IT FU-ry t�+• RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of said City be, and he is hereby directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be puhlished o at least twice, but not oftener than once a week, to- its On the 221st", day of Februa r r p 95'Z and on the 28th day of Februar �s 1457 in the Chula Vista Star, a news- paper of general circulation published in said City, and also in a new paper of general circulation published outside of the City but in the County in which is located the territory Proposed to be annexed; said publication to be complete at least 20 days prior In the date set for the hearing. Said City Clerk shall also cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to each person to whom land within the territory proposed to be wormed 1.8 assessed in the last 'equalised county assestament t roll available on the date these proceedings are initiated, at the addrss shown on said assessment roll, or as known to said Clerk, and to any peron . • who has filed hip name and address and the desig ation of the lands in which he has any inter:St, either legal or equitable, with said Clerk. In th® event land within the territory proposed to be annexed is owned by the. County of San Diego acid.City Clerk shall also cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the Board of Supervisors of such County. The notices above referred to shall be given not less than 20 days before the said public hearing on the proposed annexation.
