ACTION: A motion was made by Councilmember Bensoussan, seconded by
Councilmember McCann, that Mayor Salas be appointed as the member of the
Chula Vista Veterans Home Support Foundation; League of California Cities
(LCC), San Diego Division; Metropolitan Wastewater Commission (Metro); and
San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) Board of Directors. The
motion carried by the following vote:

At the request of Mayor Sa/as, City Clerk Norris distnbuted and explamed a ploposed bmeline for the
appointment of a City Councilmember.
There was consensus o/ the Council to approve [he City qerk's recommended timeline and hold a
speaal meeting on January 8, 2015, at 400p.m, for fhe purpose of conducfing interviews to fill fhe
vacancy on the City Councd Mayor Salas requested that the mee6ng be televised.

CHANGING THE TIME OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
ACTION: A motion was made by Councilmember Bensoussan, seconded by Mayor Saias,
changing the start time of regular City Council meetings to 4:00 p.m., with
business items, including items removed from the Consent Calendar and Public
Hearing items, being heard at 6:00 p.m., commencing with the meeting of
January 6, 2015.The motion carried by the following vote:

At the 2quest of Councilmember Bensoussan, the2 was consensus of the Council to request the Cify
Manager pmpose ideas to 2start work on the Citys ARS Master Plan
Councilmember McCann congratulated Chie/ Geedng on his appointment as Fi2 Chief He thanked
City employees for their service and stafed he was looking forward to working with the employees, City
management, and the Council.
Mayor Salas paid t6bufe to Assemblyman Pete Chacon.
