RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COt CIL APPROVING TENTATIVE
SUBDIVISION MAP ENTITLED .gat Manor No.1
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FQLLLMS:
SECTION 1: nBEREAS there has been presented to this
Council, after approval and recommendation of the City Planning
Commission of the City of Chula Vista that certain tentative
subdivision map known as Cortez Manor No. 1 •
SECTION 2: That the City Council does hereby approve
said tentative subdivision map in accordance with fihe recom-
mendations of said Planning Commission and does hereby author-
ize the following changes, additions and corrections to be
made to said map: Subject to reappraisal of No. 2 tentative
map prior to its development.

Gentlemen
. The tentative map of the proposed Cortez Subdivision, Units 1 and 2
was considered by the Planning Commission at their meeting of May 19,
1958. .
- The Commission_ approved this map.and wishes to recommend to City
Council that it be adcepted, subject to the following conditions:
1. That a drainage easement from Glover to Fourth Avenue
be dedicated as shown on map,- and improved with a five
foot pedestrian way and be fenced.
2. That 11 lots B and C, on the south end of Garrett cod -
Landis.Avenues be dedicated, as shown on map.
3. That Engineering Department requirements be complied with,
14. That a new name be given to Landis Avenue as suggested by
';the subdivider.
5. That_the subdivision be known in the future as Cortez Manor.
Mr. Lee Raitt, subdivider, stated that it is his belief that before
development-of Unit 2, provision will be made to extend Garrett Avenue
through to "J" Street. ..
