HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1959-2291 2 • RESOLUTION No. 2291 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO CONDUCT A SPECIAL TIDELANDS BOND ELECTION FOR THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, the' City of Chula Vista intends to conduct an election for the issuance of Bonds for improvement of tidelands on October 27, 1959, and WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista desires that the Registrar of Voters of the County of San Diego conduct said election, and WHEREAS, the acting Registtar of. Voters, A. V. Nichols, has informed the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista that his office was in a position to conduct said election if so directed by the County Board of Supervisors; NOW THEREFORE, ,the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby Resolve as follows, pursuant to Election Code, Section No. 9483 Section 1. That the County Board of Supervisors hereby direct the Registrar of Voters to conduct said election on behalf of the City of Chula Vista, ,tInd Section 2.
