HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1960-2371 915 RESOLUTION No, 2371x_ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ORDERING THE VACATION OF ' A Portion of Montebello Street WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista did on the 1st day of December , 19 59 , adopt Resolution of Intention No. 2356 , whereby said City Council did declare its intention to order the vacation and closing to public use of that certain street within said City of Chula Vista known as _ a% portion of Montebello Street � _ which is more particularly described as follows : ,'41, 0'Z',:.- k + "R 4 .4t. All that portion of 01 .1#4 "4� hula s t e of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof x No 505, filed March 13, ]i88 in the Office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, ,deecribed as follows: Beginning at a point in the Northerly line of said Lot 13 wcrich bears North 70° 191 43" East 200®00 feet from the Vor thweet corner of said lot; thence - • ' South 18° 58/ 39" East along the easterly line of the westerly 200 feet of said lot 40.0 feet; thence South 70° 49' 3" West 73000 feet; thence North 19° 10; 17" j=est 1000 feet to a point in the south line of Montebello Street which hears North 70° 49' 13°' East , 126093 feet from the intersection of said south line with the west line of said Lot 13; thence easterly along a tangent curve whose center bears south 190 101 17" East, 20000 feet from said point, , through a central angle of 33° 33' 30" for a distance of 11071 feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence easterly and no; ther1y along a tangent curve whose radius is 40 feet through an angle of 123° 33' 30% a dis- tance of 86,25 feelliAmpeeerelie:e :,elePlet re_ ry t 5 r t.'-'J S 1r'.,;11,ti 5 �. .1..., 4! l.. FILE/ GE N,. __„_ RE.0 LO AT R._QUEST OF ipt e .- 7:/ c(f rJAN 151960 ectlp M SERIES I EOCA 1960 OFFICIAL RECORDS `.`' SAN DIEGO COUNTY,CALIFORNIA ROGER N.HOWE,COUNTY RECORDER m � � "1/6v 916 WHEREAS, there was posted a notice of the passage of said Resolution by the person, within the time and in the manner and form, all as required by law, and said Resolution was, in the manner required by law, published in the Chula Vista Star News , a newspaper of general circulation , printed and published weekly in said City; and WHEREAS, affidavits of the said Street Superintendent and the publisher of said newspaper showing the posting of said notices and publication of said Resolution in the manner and form required by law, have been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista ; and WHEREAS, the said City Council did by said Resolution set the 5th__ day of January, 19 60 F. at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the _ " City Council Chambers at the City Hall, Chula Vista, California , as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in and objecting to the proposed vacation of said described street; and WHEREAS, the City Council did hear the evidence offered by all persons intere'stect; and HEREAS, the City Council finds from the evident', submitted that said street as described in the Resolution of Intention is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF '-CHULA VISTA AS FOLLOWS: That the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby finds that the street more particularly described hereinabove is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes; and That it is hereby ordered that said street as specifically described in said Resolution of Intention and as hereinabove specifically described in this Resolution is hereby ordered vacated and closed to public use, subject to the reservations and exceptions contained in the above description. 917 D ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA, this 5th day of January, 1960 by the following vote, to-wit: .
