HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1960-2440 RESOLUTION No. 2440 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA WITHDRAWING REAL PROPERTY FROM THE MONTGO+•-: RY LOCAL FIRE DISTRICT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DOES RESOLVE, as follows: o • WHEREAS the following descried real propertyy known as L. ST. ANNEXATION has heretofore been included within the City of Chula Vista by reason of its annemation to the City of Chula Vi8ta9 said real property being described as follows: Ail that reel p'roperty in the County of San Diego, State of California, bounded and described as follows : Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of Quarter Section 165 of Rancho de la Necion, according to the Map thereof No 166 made by Morrill and filed In the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, May 119 1869, thence Westerly along the Northerly tine of said Southeast Quarter a distance of 60.00 feet, thence Southerly, parallel to the Easterly line of said Southeast Quarter, a distance of 40.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. Thence continuing Southerly, 60.00 feet Westerly and parallel with said Easterly line a distance of 338,00 feet; 2. Thence Vesterly along a line parallel with said Northerly line of Southeast Quarter a distance of 610,80 feet ; 3© Thence Southerly along a line parallel with said Easterly tine of the Southeast Quarter a distance of 253,50 feet to the Northerly right—of- way line of Arizona Street, as shown on Map No 1496 flied in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County; 4,, Thence \Y'esterly along said Northerly right—of---way line of Arizona Street,, and its continuation, a distance of 1070830 feet; 5. Thence Northerly along a line parallel with the Easterly line of said Northeast Quarter a distance of 591 ,50 feet to a point 40.00 feet Southerly of the Northerly line of the Southwest Quarter of Quarter Section 165 according to said Map Noe 505; 6. Thence Easterly along a line 40.00 feet Southerly and parallel with said Northerly line of the Southwest and Soul: aair Quarters of said Quarter Section 165 a distance of i684 „60 fecr to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, Said annexation contains approximately l927 acres NO W° THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA does hereby resolve as follows, I, That said real property, and the whole thereof, is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the MONTGOMERY LOCAL FIRE DISTRICT, San Diego County, California, effective June 15, 1960 _ 2 That the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista is hereby authorized and directed to file certified copies of this resolution with the State Board of Equalization„ the governing body of the Montgomery Local Fire Districts the Registrar of Voters of San Diego County© and the County Assessor of San Diego County, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF CHULA VISTAS CALIFORNIA this 17th day of May, 1960 by the following vote, to-wits AYESg Councilmen McMains, Smith, McAllister, Menzel Nayss None Absent, Councilman DeGraaf ►� 4 / _100:94.
