HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1992-16695 RESOLUTION NO. 16695 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE FINAL CHANGE ORDER FOR THE NORMAN PARK SENIOR CENTER PROJECT, AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY WHEREAS, on December 18, 1990, the City Council/Redevelopment Agency, by Council Resolution 15977, awarded a construction contract to Davidson Construction Company for "Norman Park Senior Center Remodel and Expansion" in the City of Chula Vista; and, WHEREAS, Change Order #10 in the amount of $33,334.00 is the final project Change Order with Davidson Construction Company and includes various revisions, additions, and changes to the scope of work not defined in the original contract documents; and, WHEREAS, these additions have been, in some cases, requested by City departments for code compliance, from the client department for necessary amenities in the building, field requests from the architect, and for structural and maintenance needs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby approve Change Order #10 in the amount of $33,334 for the Norman Park Center Project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute said change order for and on behalf of the City of Chula Vista.
