RESOLUTION No, 2474

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE PROPOSED LOCATION OF
Route No.• 241
WHEREAS, the State of California, Division of Highways, has
scheduled a public hearing on June 27, 1960, on the location of the
proposed Route #241, a portion of which would go through the City
of Chula Vista, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista have coordinated the street design of a number
of subdivisions with Alternate "A'", and
WHEREAS, said Alternate "A" is deemed to be the most accept-
able route from a planning standpoint, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista is anxious
to do all in its power to promote the early establishment of said
proposed Route #241.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby •
recommends approval of Alternate "A" for the location of Route #241,
as proposed by the State Division of Highways to the State Highway
Commission.
2. That the City Council of the City of Chula Vista urges the
State Highway Commission to do all in its power to facilitate the
establishment of said route and the creation and construction of said
•
freeway at the earliest possible time.
3. TOat the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista send a copy
of this resolution to Jacob Dekema, Division of Highways, District
Office, 4075 Taylor St. San Diego, California, and a copy to the
California State Highway Commission, at its main office.

ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the CITY 'COUNCIL of the CITY OF
CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA, this 21st day of June ' 1960
by the following vote, to-wit:
