THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPPOVEVENTS IN
"C" STREET AND NORTH CLOVER AVENUE

SECTION lo That certain agreement between the CITY OF
CHULA VISTA, a Municipal Corporation, -and Trailetaa-c co o ,y,
dated Febr��arva_. 7 67 , a copy of which is attached
hereto, and incorporated herein, the same as though fully set forth
herein be, and the same is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That the ':'.ayor of the City of Chula Vista be and
he is hereby authorized and directed t o execute the sonic for and
upon behalf of the said City upon the posting of the bonds by
St. Paul Fire and Maxine Insurance Company
as provided for in said aoreement9

CONTRACT FOR COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN
"C" STREET and NORTH GLOVER AVE .
IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between the CITY OF CHULA VISTA, a
municipal corporation, and Trailer Rancho, Inc.

hereinafter called Second Party, as follows:
WI TNESSETH:
• - WHEREAS the Second Party is the owner of real property in the
City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State of California,
•
described as follows: .
Those portions of 20 Acre Lots 3 and 4 of Quarter
•
Section 135 of Rancho de la Nacion according to
Map thereof No. 166 on file in the office of the
Recorder of San Diego County, California, desc-
rihed as follows: •
• ' The Easterly 608. 17 feet of the South half of
said20' Acre Lot 3, and the Easterly 608. 17 feet

WHEREAS, the Second Party has requested a certain privilege in the
use of the property above described, 'the First Party has required as
a condition in granting said privilege, that certain property be dedi-
cated to public use for street purposes, and th-e improvements be
installed therein and in a portion of "C" Street and
WHEREAS, the Second Party has filed with proper authorities of the
City of Chula Vista, the necessary deeds, improvement plans and other
data, and
WHEREAS, •the Second Party is desirous of furnishing to the City of
Chula• Vista, a faithful performance bond to guarantee the installation
of the hereinafter described improvemen'ts
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY and between the City of Chula
Vista, and the Second Party as follows:

I . Said Second Party agrees to undertake and complete, and to
pay for all labor and materials in .connection therewith, prior to
the issuance of a 'completion certificate or final inspection , for
structures erected on the heretofore described property, all the
necessary work and installation of improvements hereinafter described,
in full conformity with the ordinances of the City of Chula Vista, and
•
' the directions of proper officials of the City of Chula Vista, Calif-
,
ornia, as may be applicable thereto. Said improvements are more
particularly described as follows:
The grading and construction of pavement, curbs and gutters,
sidewalks, drainage facilities and sanitary sewers, as shown
on improvement plan on file in the office of the City
Engineer, City of Chula Vista, bearing the following numbers:

The Second Party further agrees to indemnify, protect and hold
harmless the said City of Chula Vista from any and all claims of
liability for personal injury, property damage, labor or material

claims which may be made against said City by reason of said work
and installation of improvements as herein provided.
2. As a guarantee and as security for its full and faithful per-
formance in complying with all the requirements for the completion of
said improvements as aforesaid, the said Second Party shall deliver to
the City of Chula. Vista,' upon the execution of'. tliis agreement, a good
and sufficient bond executed by an authorized surety company satis-
factory to the said City of Chula Vista in the sum of $• 29.500.00 •

3. Upon the execution by Second Party of this contract and the
posting of a bond as herein provided, the City agrees to issue a
certificate authorizing construction of structures on the heretofore
described property.

NOW THEREFORE,the condition of the foregoing obligation is such that if the Principal shall indemnify the Obligee
for all loss that the Obligee may sustain by reason of the Principal's failure to comply with any of the terms of said contract,
then this obligation shall be void;otherwise it shall remain in force.
