Ia�st�ruction§ to be Observed in �ecuting Lease
(1) The lease shall be dated.
(2) The address of the Lessof•shall Ge clearly written in paragraph seven.
(3) Premises sbadl be futly described,an�,in case of rooms, the floor and room number of each room givcn;
also give square footage if room or building.
(4) Insert sum re j�resenting rental f or whole term f ollowing paragraph reading"Rental:'
(5) Both husband and wi f e �reust execute lease i f prope��ty is community, except f o: a term not exceeding
vne year,in which case t,he husband may execute lease. I f term does not exceed one year but lease carries an optiox
which would extend term beyond one year, then both husbund and-wife must join in execution.
(6) Should the �iroperty be in probate or held in trust, evidence of the authority of the executor, adminis-
tratoT or trustee must be furnished. The executor or administrator may lease proj�erty•without an order of the cou�t
when the tenancy is f rom month to month, or f or a term not to exceed one year, and the rental does not exceed one
bundred dollars per month.
(7) Whenever the lease is executed by an attovney,agent or trustee on behal f o f the Lessor,one authenticated
copy of his power of attorney,or ather evidence of authority to act on behalf of the Lessor, shall accompany the lease.
(8) When the Lessor is a partnership,the names of the partners composing the firm shall be stated in the body
of the lease. The lease shall be signed with the partnership name followed by the name of the partner signing the same.
(9) where the Lessor is a corporation, the lease shall be signed with the cosporate name, followed by the
signature and title of the o�icer or other�erson signing the same on its behalf,duly attested, and, if requested by the
State,evidence of his authority to so act shall be furnished.
(20) Under paragraph four of the lease insert utilities and service to be furnished,such as heat,light,janito�
rervice,etc.
