The wording of Ordinance 1435 states it is amending Sections 2. 402 and 2. 404 of the Code -- this is an error -- it should read Section 2. 95 of the Code. At one time, when the Code was being typed by the legal secretary, the section numbers were changed; however, they were never adopted as such by the Council. We are also requesting that a change be made in the ordinance -- to delete the words "to the City Clerk" in the following paragraph : " 3. Transcript. . . . .of ineeting. . .of the City Council, Planning Commission or any other board or commission. . .may be obtained upon the payment to the Citv Clerk.of the actual hourly rate of a City employee trans- cribing. . . " Since transcripts are made not only by the City Clerk' s staff but also by secretaries in the various City departments, it is felt that the City Clerk should not be charged with the responsibility of supervising all these transcripts. It should be noted that the City Clerk ' s office is in the process of reviewing the fee schedule for mailing Council agenda and minutes. At present, the fee is $5. 00 a year, and it is estimated that we spend approximately $18. 00 a year on postage alone. A report will be sent to the Council in the n futu e ATTACIiED: Resolution rd'inance [X] Agreement [ ] Plat [ ] See EXHIBITS (X] No. 1 Financial Statement: N.A.
