[� �ZZ ] CHULA VISTA CITY COWi CIL 6fEETING OF: August Zg. 1973 Ordinance No. ITEM TITLE: 014jZ�ance - Amending Sec . 35 . 207 of Art. 2 of Chapter 35 of the City Code Relating to the Criteria for Park Land Dedication and In Lieu Fee Requirements - fSecondrreading- and adoption INITIATED BY: City Attorney BACKGROUND Adjustments have been made in both the fee schedule and the amount of land required for dedication in accordance with various types of housing. Some slight reduction has been allowed for cluster housing, or PUDS . It is felt that a minimal variation from the single family dwelling . unit requirement is equitable in light of required open space and proposed reduction in the density bonus granted for PUDS . Again, as in the case of the construction tax, variations are made based upon the number of bedrooms . In addition, we have attempted to spell out � the subdivi'der ' s responsibility for park development as well as park land dedication. This matter was first considered at the Council meeting of August 7 and was continued to the meeting of August 21, 1973 .
