[ 5 ] CHULA VISTA CITY COUNCIL PfEETING OF: December 5 , 1972 ITEM TITLE: Emergency Ordinance - Interim Environmental Impact Report Procedures INITIATED BY: City Manager BACKGROWi D: At its meeting of 11-21-72 , the City Council directed staff to come back with action documents for its consideration covering the Environmental Review Procedure system and fee schedule associated with filing of Environmental Assessment Forms and Environmental Impact Reports. The system was illustrated in the City Manager' s 11-21-72 report on a simplified process-flow diagram (copy attached) . Also, key items of the Administrative Procedures included the general instructions on the Environmental Assessment Form, a listing of the agencies or groups ,°to be contacted during environmental review, and a draft outline of an Environmental Impact Report were included in the Dlanager' s report as part of the system plan. The fees are as follows: A. Filing of Environmental Assessment Form $ 50 B. Filing of Environmental Impact Report (draft) $200 C. Major projects , i.e. , Sports World, rrould be required to pay, in addition, a deposit to cover the estimated costs of extended staff services. These charges against a deposit would be per records of direct City costs incurred with a minimum fee being the basic $200 amount.
