ROLL CALL: Present: Deputy MayorAguilar.Councilmember Bensoussan,Councilmember Ramirez, Counulmember Salas and Mayor Cox Councilmember Ramirez anived at 4:71 p.m. and Deputy Ma}rorAguilar arrived at 4:48 p.m. Also P2sent: City Manager Sandoval, City Attomey Googins, City Ge/k Norris, and Assistant City Clerk Bi9elow PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG AND MOMENT OF SILENCE Councilmember Salas led the Pledge ofAllegiance. PUBLIC COMMENTS There we2 none. WORKSHOP 14-0212 INFRASTRUCTURE WORKSHOP Presentation by staff of an update on the condition of the infrastructure within each of the City's asset management programs (Building, Drainage, Fleet, General Government, Open Space, Parks, Roadway, Urban Forestry, and Wastewater) and identification of critical needs and funding strategies. Public Works Director Hopkins introduced consultanfs Colin Chung, rep2senting GHD ConsulGng, and Dr. Timothy McLamey,represenfing Tive NoRh Reseaich Mr. Chung and Public Works Di/actor Hopkins provided an overview ot the goals and development of the City's asset management pro92m. Mr. Chung and Public Wo/lcs Di2ctor Hopkins gave a presentation about the City's nine asset management programs: Buihfing Management System (BMS), Drainage Management System (OMSJ, Fleet Mainfenance System (FMS), Gene21 Govemment Management System (GGMS), Open Space Management System (OSMSJ, Parks Management Syslem (PMSJ, Roadway Management System (RMS), Urban Forestry Management Sysfem(UFMS), and Wastewater Management System (WMS). The resu/fs of the survey included info�mation on the community's pnonties and satisfact�on with City services Mayor Cox commended staff on the posi6ve survey results. Councilmember Sa/as commended staf/and the consultants on the presentation In response to quesGOns from Councilmember Bensoussan, Public Works D�2ctor Hopkins provided addihonal information on the ongoing mvenfory calcu/ations and upcommg changes to the fleet maintenance program In iesponse to queshons from Counalmember Ramirez, Dr. McLamey pmvided additional details about the methodology and 2sults of the community survey. In response to questions from Deputy Mayor Aguilar, Public Works Di2ctor Hopkins provided infortriation on potential assessment disfncts for asset imp�ovements and maintenance.
