HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1972-1435 ORDINANCE NO. 1435 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AMENDING SECTIONS 2 . 402 AND 2 . 404 OF CIiAPTER 2 OF THE CHULA VISTA CITY CODE RELATING TO FEES CHARGED FOR RE- PRODUCTION OF CITY DOCUMENTS The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does ordain as follows : SECTION I : That Sections 2 . 402 and 2 . 404 of the Chula Vista City Code be , and the same are hereby amended' to read as follows: Sec. 2. 402. Fees ; City Clerk. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to furnish any person applying therefor any of the following upon pay- ment of the fees herein established: 1. Agenda and minutes of the meetings of the Council, or agenda and minutes of ineetings of the various commis- sions and boards may be mailed to applicants for an annual fee for any particular body of. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $5. 00 2, Copy of any official record: Size and Type Fees 8-1/2" x 11" 50¢ first page (1 copy) 10¢ each additional page or copy 8-1/2" x 13" 75¢ first page (1 copy) 15¢ each additional page or copy Reader-printer 75¢ first page (1 copy) 15¢ each additional page or copy 3. Transcript of all or a portion of any meeting or public hearing of the City Council, Planning Commission or any other board or commission which are recorded may be obtained upon the payment to the City Clerk of the actual hourly rate of a City employee transcribing said record, plus the incidental overhead costs to be esta- blished by the Director of Finance, plus a charge per page as follows : Size Fees 8-1/2" x 11" 50¢ first page (1 copy) 10� each additional page or copy 8-1/2" x 13" 75¢ first page (1 copy) 15¢ each additional page or copy 4 . The City Clerk shall make available to any person requesting such service the use of the tape recordings for use within the Civic Center at no cost other� than the overhead cost for any office equipment which shall be de- termined by the Director of Finance. 5. Certificates covering liens and assessments on real property - per parcel . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $2 . 50 - 1 - I � 6 . Copies of any of the foregoing documents, minutes or records will be furnished to any federal, state, county, municipality, district, department thereof, governmental agency or any federal officer acting in his official capacity without charge, except in tHe case of a request for a trans- cript of the recorded proceedings of any meeting or public hearing; provided, however, that any such governmental agency shall be required to pay the fee herein required for all copies in excess of one (1) . When the City Clerk has de- termined that the applicant for any of the copies of docu- ments herein regulated is a non-profit organization, she may furnish one (1) copy of such documents to such organizations without charge. Sec. 2 . 404 . Fees ; Engineering Department: The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to furnish any person applying therefor any of the following documents, papers , drawings or official records of the Engineering Department upon payment of the fees herein established: 1. Bid documents : $3 . 00 per complete plan and speci- fications , plus $0. 50 per plan sheet in excess of five (5) sheets; provided, however, that any contractor pur- chasing one (1) set of plans shall be given up to two (2) additional copies without additional charge and for payment of two (2) sets of plans and specifications , the contractor may receive up to six (6) copies of the bid documents. 2. Aerial topo sheets: $5 . 00 per sheet, plus $0. 75 per additional copy of same sheet. 3. Various master street and sewer maps and miscel- laneous diawings: $0. 30 per square foot, with a minimum fee of $1. 50. 4 . Xerox reproductions of Engineering documents or correspondence: Size and Type Fees 8-1/2" x 11" 50¢ first page (1 copy) 10� each additional page or copy 8-1/2" x 13" 75� first page (1 copy) 15¢ each additional page or copy Reader-printer 75� first page (1 copy) 15¢ each additional page or copy 5. Standard Specifications: $1. 50 per set. 6. Linen Title Sheet Blank: $2 .00 per sheet. .. 7. Linen Title Sheet Profile: $3 .00 per sheet. 8. Vellum Title Sheet Blank: $0. 50 per sheet 9 . Vellum Title Sheet Profile: $1.00 per sheet. 10. Annexation plats and legal descriptions : $0. 30 per square foot with a minimum fee of $1. 50 .
