HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1995-18150 RESOLUTION NO. 18150 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE SECOND AMENDMENT EXTENDING CONTRACT NO. C094-218 NOT TO EXCEED $10,000 FOR SOLID WASTE CONSULTANT SERVICES WITH BROWN, VENCE AND ASSOCIATES (BVA) WHEREAS, at the June 7, 1994 meeting, council approved a $25,000 contract with Brown, Vence and Associates (BVA) for specialized solid waste consultant services related to the first phase development of transfer station and materials recovery facility (MRF); and WHEREAS, at the October 4, 1994 meeting, council approved a first amendment to the contract for an additional ~30,000 in services; and WHEREAS, if the city desires to have future services available, an extension of contract scope of work will be necessary; and WHEREAS, this second amendment approves $10,000 in funds for services which can be projected to be provided to the city for the next few months up to when the Redevelopment Agency considers the special land use permit for the transfer station. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby authorize the mayor to execute the second amendment extending Contract No. CO94- 218, a copy of which is on file in the office of the city clerk and known as Document No. CO95-257, not to exceed ~;10,000 for solid waste consultant servi s with Brown, Vence and Associates.
