Z g�— RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the City �ouncil of the City of Chula Vista, to order the following work to be done and improvement to be made in said City , to-wit� That an Ornamental I,ighting System, consiatin� of c�st iron and fluted steel lighting standards, cement concrete Youndati-ona� lighting unita� safety coils, metal conduits, cables� wires, appliancea and appurtenances be furniahed and installed complete , ready for lighting by electricity in� over and acrosa 3rd, Avent�e from the South line of Davideon Street pro�ected FJest , to a line running Easterly and i`lesterly 290_ feet South of the South line of G Street . as ahown on Plat designated as Ch�la Viata f �,ighting �istrict �1 and approved by the Gity CounciID� , All of sAid work hereinbefore generally described shall be conatructed in the manner , at the locations, within the limits � of the materials, of the dimensions ea shown upon and in eccordance with the plane and specificatione thereYor contained in document on file in the office of the City Clerk oY said City and copiea of crhich are on £ile i� the office of the City Engineer said • • of � Gity, and by this reference thereto � ,such plana and specifications are made a part hereof, The said City Council hereby determines and declares that serial bonds ahall be issued to represent each assesement oY twenty five dollars or more remaining unpaid after the full e%piration of thirty days from the date of the warrant , to represent the ezpensea of said work and improvement, Said aeriel bonds shall extend over a period ending nine years from the second day of January next aucceeding the fift�enth day of the negt November follow- ing their date, and an even annual proportion of the princ.ipal sum thereof shall be payable by coupon on the second day of January every year after the fifteenth day of the neat November followin� their date until the whole ia paid, Said bonda ehall bear intereat at the ra.te of seven per cent per an- num� interest payable semi annually by coupon, on ell suma unpaid until the whole of said principal and interest are paid. 9aid bonds shall be isaued and the principal and interest thereof shall be paid under and in pursuance -1- �, c• r . / , i -- - � of the Improvement 8ct� of 1911 and amendmanta thereto, � That the contemplated work and improvement hereinbefore mentioned is in the opinion of said City-�ouncil of mnre than local and ordinary public ben- �fit and the eapenses of auch work and improvement are made chargeable upon the district hereinaPter deacribed, and the esid City @ouncil does hereby � declare said district to be the diatrict ben&fited by said work and improve- ment , and to be asaesaed to pay the cost and expenaes thereof. Said district is described ae followa � to-wit : All that real property in the A� City of Chule Vista included within the eaterior boundary lines of said district , as aho�rn upon that certain plat showing Chula Vista Light- ing District �1 , indicating the exterior boundary lines of such district , which plat approved� b$ the City C;ouncil , is on file in� the office oi the City Engineer of said L`ity; ezcepting there�m:m all public Street8� roads� Alleys� avenuea and highwaye. �eference ie hereby made to esid plat for a particular distriction of such district, The work shall be done also in accordance wfth the terms and conditions aet forth in the "License 9greemente'� entere� into by the esid City Gonncii with the Union Metal Co, of I,os Angeles, California and with the �festinghouse Electric and Manufactnring Company of Pittaburg, Pa, for the furnishing of Standards� lighting units and safety coila for which -U.S. Z,ettera �atente have been granted said 6ompanies which 'License Agreements'aEe e.lso on file in the office of 8aid City (:lerk, Ivotice is hereby given that . on �,uu�o,�,f_ , the �day of �ay 1929 , at �—�� 7 .30 o' clock P.�3, , in the council cham�er of the City Council of said City � any and all peraona having ar�y objections to the proposed work and improve- ment may appear beYore the said .Council and shoiv cause w}Ly said proposed im- provement should not be carried out in accordance with th�e resolution.
