to abandon the preaent port oY entry between San Yaidro and Ti�uana,

at the International boundary, on account of the cost c� lairl upon

the Highv�qy leading to the said port of entry, whoae commerce and •

buainees is in a large part dependent upon the continuance and

Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLI/ED by the Common Council of

15 be, and� they are hereby, petitioned to socept the site aPfered
16 to them by the citizens of San Ysidro, located a diatance oY ap-
17 � groximately sisteen hnndred (1600) Yeet �9est oY the g� eaent port
18 oY entry , for the establiehment and location a� a �w port.
