Selected Departments — Part I. prepazed by I�TBS resulted in recommended chanses to business fees necessarv to ensure the Cit}� reco��ers the estimated reasonable cost of providine business reeulaton� sen�ices consistent with the Citv's Cost Reco��en� Polic��: and WHEREAS: in order to achieve equitable cost reco��erv for business reQulatorv services, the Council ��ishes to amend Chapter 4 of the City`s Master Fee Schedule, as set forth in Exhibit l, attached and incorporated into this resolution bv this reference, as if set forth in full; and R'HEREAS, the proposed fees do not esceed the reasonable cost of pro��idine the associated services: and WHEREAS, Article XIII C of the California Constitution requires a vote of the electorate to increase any le��y_ charge, or exaction imposed b}� a local govemment, unless specifically " e�empted; and �'�'HEREAS; pursuant to the provisions of Article �III C, the proposed fees aze ezempt from the vote requiremenr. and V�'HEREAS, the proposed amendments to Chapter 4 of the Master Fee Schedule shall become effective upon adoption of this Resolution b�� the Ciri� Council.
