RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ACCEPTING A GRANT DONATION OF SOLID TWO DOOR
REACH-IN FREEZER FROM THE SAN DIEGO LAW
ENFORCEMENT FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the Chula Vista Police Department applied for a grant through the San
Diego Law Enforcement Foundation for a frezer unit to store and preserve fragile biological
evidence; and,
WHEREAS, on December 22, 1994, the City received notice that the City's request
was approved and the Foundation notified us to order a freezer valued at 82,795.00; and,
WHEREAS, acceptance of the freezer will require the installation of an additional
electrical circuit for less than 8200 and additional monthly utilites costs of 825.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does
hereby accept a grant donation of 82,795 from the San Diego Law Enforcement Foundation
for the purchase of a solid two door reach-in freezer to store and preserve fragile biological
evidence.
