RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA AMENDING THE FY 1995-96 BUDGET AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE AVAILABLE FUND
BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND TO THE INSURANCE
BUDGET
WHEREAS, due to the payment of the settlement of the Gina Chammas v. the City of
Chula Vista lawsuit, an appropriation from the available fund balance of the General Fund in
the amount of ~400,000 is required to reimburse the Public Liability Trust Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does
hereby appropriate $400,000 from the General Fund available fund balance to the Insurance
Budget Account 100-0700-5283, and authorizes the Finance Director to reimburse the Public
Liability Trust Fund (431) the full amount of the appropriation.
