SECTIONS _114 and 115 OF RANCHO DE LA NACION, . IN THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO, 'STATE OF CALIFORNIA, TO BE KNOWN AS "COUNTRY CLUB/ANNEX9TION #2". . PARK THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DOES HEREBY RESOL� AS FOLLOWS: -' That pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the proposed annexation to, and in- corporation and inclusion in, the City of Chula Vista of certain � uninhabited territory in the County o£ San Diego contiquous to the City of Chula Vista. The boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed to the City of Chula Vista are more particularly described as follows: All those portions of the 'Southerly half of Quarter Section •114 and the Northerly half of Quarter Section 115, Rancho de la Nacion, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to map thereof No. 166 filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, described as follows: � Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said 1�4 Section 114 being also the Northwesterly corner of said 1/4 Section 115; thence along the Westerly line of said 1/4 Section 114, . That the said territory is hereby designated as "Country Club _ ;;PazSkAnnexation #2. " r _p_ NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on the I;;day of �P�L_ � 195�, at the hour of Seven (7) o 'clock P.M. in the Council Chambers , in the City Hall, Civic Center, Chula Vista, California, at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City, any person owning real property within such territory proposed to be annexed and , having any �ob�ections to the proposed annexation, may appear before the City Council and show cause why such territory should not be so annexed. , At any time not later than the said hour set for hearing ob,jections to the proposed annexation, any owner of property within the territory proposed to be annexed may file written protest against the proposed i annexation. Such protest shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of the property affected thereby and the description and area of such property in general terms. , NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that proceedings are hereby initiated by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, and that the said City Council desires said annexation for the following reasons: 1. The uninhabited territory propsed to be annexed is contiguous ' to the City of Chula Vista, and in the path of the natural expansion of the residential district of the said City. 2. The said City Council desires the development of this � uninhabited territory, so far as possible, to conform to the minimum standards established by the subdivision, sanitation and building ordinances of the City of Chula Vista . ' 3• The said City Council desires to prevent the development of sub-standard "fringe" areas along the boundaries of the said City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of said City be, iand he is hereby directed to cause ,a copy of this resolution to be published at �least twice, but not oftener than once a week, to wit, ' on the�day of M R n e N , 195� and on the1�day of ` /� {FCt C, �-F , 195�+ in the Cgula Vista Star, �a newspaper of general -3- � circulation published in said City, and also in a newspaper of general circulation published outside of the City but in the County in which is located the territory proposed to be annexed; said publication to be complete at least 20 days prior to the date ' set for the hearing. Said City Clerk shall also cause written notice oP such proposed annexation to be mailed to each person to whom land within the territory proposed to be annexed is assessed in the last equalized county assessment roll available on the date these proceed- ings are initiated, at the address shown on said assessment roll, or as known to said Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and the designation of the lanns in which he has any interest, either legal or equitable, with said Clerk. In the event any land within the territory proposed to be annexed is owned by the County of San Diego said City Clerk shall also cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the Board of Supervisors of such County.
