' ��iE7: ' ��j G�ier� , ' b� �et�.:tv . � • � - __ RESOLUTION NO. 2407 RESOLUTION REGARDING PAY AND BENEFITS OF SERVICE PERSONNEL . �L(� WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council of the City of Coronado that the pay of the � � officers and enlisted personnel of The Armed Services of the United States of America is far behind the 'present cost of living and has lagged behind the pay of other groups of government employees, and W H ER EAS,_.the_populataor}of-the-C�ty_et-Coronado-isa�proximately-seventy-six-per-eenYS2rvice-con= mecYed and gcea�hardshi�is-being-ear�sed-in-said�city_by-the-existing_pay_status,_.and_ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Coronado has been informed that legislation will be intro- duced in Congress to increase the pay of the Armed Services of the United States of America, both active and retired; " � . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.
