RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA AND THE UNITED STATES OLYMPIC
COMMITTEE'S ARCO TRAINING CENTER IN CHULA VISTA FOR
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE OF EASTLAKE MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT (ELMD) NO. I ZONE "C"
WHEREAS, the United States Olympic Committee's ARCO Training Center (ATC) in
Chula Vista is requesting the City to enter into an agreement to allow the ATC to maintain 3,5
acres of landscaping and improvements along Wueste Road versus conveying the property to
the City for maintenance under the City's Open Space Section.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does
hereby approve an Agreement between the City of Chula Vista and the United States Olympic
Committee and the Chula Vista ARCO Training Center for landscape maintenance, a copy of
which is on file in the office of the City Clerk as Document No. CO96-222.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Chula Vista is hereby
authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Chula
Vista.
