Neighbors and volunteers with the
help of Chula Vista City Services
worked collaboratively to plant along
the fence of the Melrose Ave hillside
in order to prevent intruders from
breaching the property

tools were able to more effectively and
efficiently carry out our cleanup efforts.
Our new gloves helped assure the safety
of our volunteers, the buckets helped
reduce the use of plastic bags during the
event, the axes and chainsaw helped cut
some of the larger pieces of trash found
and the wheelbarrows allowed us to
transport the large pieces of debris to the
dumpsters located at the Bay Park.”
