RESOLUTION NO. 3977
RESOLUTION ELECTING TO PROCEED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF
THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941, DECLARING THE INTENTION
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO VACATE
A PORTION OF HILLTOP DRIVE AND FIXING
A TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THEREOF
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows :
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Chula Vista
that the public interest and convenience of said City require the
vacation of a portion of the street hereinafter mentioned, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the intention of said
Council to order the vacation of that portion of HILLTOP DRIVE in
the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State of California, excepting
therefrom an easement for maintaining and preserving slope rights,
as more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
by this reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set
forth herein, Sand as shown on Drawing No. , on fit in the
Office of the City Clcrk.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Chula Vista hereby elects to proceed in making said vacation under
the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, and that said
Council hereby fixes Wednesday, February 23, 1966, at 7:00 P.M.
in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center in said City as the
time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting
to the proposed vacation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chula Vista Star News , a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of Chula Vista be, and
it is hereby designated as the newspaper in which the City Clerk of
said City shall cause to be published, in the manner and form required
by law, notice of the passage of this Resolution, and the said City
Clerk is hereby directed to cause notices of the passage of this
resolution to be posted in the manner and form required by law and
to cause a notice similar in substance to be published in said
newspaper in the manner required by law.

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of the Southwest Quarter of '"quarter Section 113 of
Rancho de la Nacion in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego,
State of California according to Map thereof No. 166 filed in the office
of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows :
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Quarter Section 113; thence
North 18°30' 30" West , along the v:7esterly line of said Southwest Quarter,
65 .00 feet ; thence North 71 °06' 36" East, parallel with the Southerly line
of said Quarter Section , 122.72 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, being
a point on the arc of a 460 foot radius curve, concave Westerly, the
center of which bears South 68°26' 59" West from said point ; thence
Northerly along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 8009134",
65.51 feet to a point on said 460 foot radius curve, the center of said
curve bears South 60°17' 25" West from said point ; thence South 71006136"
West , parallel with the Southerly line of said Quarter Section, 15.28 feet
to a point on the arc of a 445 foot radius curve, concentric with the
aforementioned curve, a radial line from said point bears South 59°55116"
West; thence Southerly, along the arc of said curve, through a central
angle of 8°26' 20", 65 .54 feet to the Northerly line of the Southerly
65.00 feet of said Quarter Section; thence North 71 °06' 36" East, along
said Northerly line, 15.02 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
