HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1965-3947RESOLUTION NO. 3947 Form No. 344 RESOLUTION NO. 3947 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE TENTATIVE MAP OF A SUBDIVISION TO BE KNOWN AS PRINCESS MANOR SUBDIVISION UNIT NO. 5 The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows : WHEREAS , the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista has heretofore approved that certain tentative map of a subdivision to be known as PRINCESS MANOR SUBDIVISION UNIT NO. 5 and has recommended that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista approve said tentative map subject to the conditions as recommended in their letter of December 22 , 1965 , a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein. NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that said Council does hereby approve said tentative subdivision map in accordance with the recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista. The Commission recommended approval subject to the following conditions: 1 . A fence and stone supports similar to that which was erected on the Orange Avenue properties in Unit #4 shall be constructed at the crest of the slope on those parcels whose rear lot lines abut Otay Valley Road. 2. The "knuckle" located south of the subdivision shall be modified in a conventional manner which shall be approved by the City staff. 3. No form of approval of the method of drainage control is intended through approval of this tentative map. 4. Permanent type pavement (3" A. C. on designed base) shall be installed along Main Street from the easterly subdivision boundary to approxi- mately the westerly line of Oleander Avenue in such manner as necessary to accommodate south to west turning movements. 5. Slopes adjacent to Main Street shall be rolled and compacted. 6. Curb height on Main Street shall be either 6" or 8" as required to con- duct the surface runoff. 7. Existing pavement on Main Street shall be removed and replaced , or over- laid as necessitated by the final design to accommodate surface runoff and to provide a smooth and safe surface for vehicular traffic. )9'#7 Honorable Mayor and City Council December 22,1965 Princess Manor #5 - tentative map page 2 8. Curb, gutter and sidewalk on Main Street shall be of monolithic con- struction. 9. Improvements to the County portion of Main Street shall be as approved by the County of San Diego and performed under conditions stipulated by said County. 10. Sewage collection system is approved in concept only. 11 . The method and point of connection to the Montgomery Sanitation District system on Main Street is subject to the approval of such District. Appli- cation for connection shall be made through the City Engineer. 12. Subdivider shall submit executed slope and/or access easements from adjacent property owners prior to approval of the final map unless grading and improvement plans clearly negate the need for same. 13. Subdivider shall provide two foot contours of property easterly of Lot 693. 14. Dedication of right-of-way on Main Street shall include elimination of access rights on Lots 795 through 804. 15. The subdivider shall provide utility easements as required along the north side of Main Street. 16. The bulb at the intersection of Tanbark Street and Ocala Avenue is approved in concept only. a7. Main Street shall be referred to as Otay Valley Road upon the final map and improvement plans. Respectfully submitted, Paul A.
