HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1965-3681 RESOLUTION NO. 3681 RESOLUTION ELECTING TO PROCEED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941 , DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO VACATE A PORTION MOSS STREET AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THEREOF The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows : BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Chula Vista that the public interest and convenience of said City require the vacation of a portion of the street hereinafter mentioned, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the intention of said Council to order the vacation of that portion of Quarter Section 120 of Rancho de la Nacion, City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State of California, as more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein, and as more particularly shown on Drawing No. T-125 , on file in the office of the City Clerk. The Council hereby elects to proceed in making said vacations under the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941. " The Council hereby fixes 7 : 00 p.m. , May 4 , 1965 , in the Council Chamber in the Civic Center in said City of Chula Vista as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chula Vista Star News , a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Chula Vista be, and it is hereby designated as the newspaper in which City Clerk of said City shall cause to be published, in the manner and form required by law, notice of the passage of this Resolution of Intention, and the said City Clerk is hereby directed to cause notices of the passage of this resolution to be posted in the manner and form required by law and to cause a notice similar in substance to be published in said newspaper in the manner required by law.
