RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO LICENSE FOR THE
USE OF SAN DIEGO GAS AND ELECTRIC PROPERTY ADJACENT
TO MARINA VIEW PARK
WHEREAS, a "park-use" license, generated by San Diego Gas and Electric Company
(SDG&E) for the City's use of SDG&E property adjacent to Marina View Park, was approved
by the Council on March 1, 1988; and
WHEREAS, a first amendment to extend the lease by five years was approved in 1992,
and expired on December 31, 1997; and
WHEREAS, SDG&E has submitted, for approval, a Second Amendment to License
which will extend the license for another five years, to expire on December 31,2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does
hereby approve and authorize the Mayor to execute the Second Amendment to License in the
form presented, for the use of San Diego Gas and Electric Property adjacent to Marina View
Park, a copy of which shall be kept on file with the City Clerl~ as Document No. CO98-034.
