PCM -12 -41 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ACCEPTING THE 2013 GMOC ANNUAL REPORT, AND RECOMMENDING ACCEPTANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the City's Growth Management Oversight Commission (GMOC) is responsible for monitoring threshold standards for eleven quality of life indicators associated with the City's Growth Management Program, and for submitting their annual report to the Planning Commission and City Council; and WHEREAS, the Development Services Director has determined that there is no possibility that the activity may have a significant effect on the environment; therefore, pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines, no environmental review is required; and WHEREAS, on April 4, 2013, the GMOC finalized its 2013 Annual Report; and WHEREAS, the report covers the period from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, identifies current issues in the second half of 2012 and early 2013, and assesses threshold compliance concerns looking forward over the next five years; and WHEREAS, on April 25, 2013, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed joint public hearing with the City Council to consider the 2013 GMOC Annual Report, and to make recommendations to the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista does hereby accept and forward the 2013 GMOC Annual Report and recommendations contained therein to the City Council for consideration. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission recommends that the City Council accept the 2013 GMOC Annual Report.
