�1'HEREAS. the FBC 0«ne,-s Association o��ersees the parl:ing restrictions �vithin the
E8C as pan of their Covenants, Conditions; & Restrictions (CCRR's). Since the openins oi the
EBC appro�imatel�- 2�-��ears aeo. the ��ivo Parl:in��� resviction has been in effect for all public
strez?s ti�ithin the EBC: and �
�1%HEREAS, the EBC O�i°ners Association is requestina that the "10 Parkine"
rzstrictions be re�ised in accordance �vith the attached eahibit and ailo��� parking on most oi the
public streets to accommodate their tenants need: and
��%HERE?.S. based on the aoo��e information. and to address EBC O��mers association
request and need; staff recommends that some of the streets ���11 ha��e cime p;ohibition parkins
restrictions. Also; the `T�o Parking° restriction �3�i11 remain on all the other streets; except for the
Bos�vell Road cui-de-sac located east of Lane A��enue; and
���HEREAS, on June �. 2013, the City of Chula Vistz Safetp Commission concurred ��ith
staf;s recommendation to re��ise Schedule III (Parking Prohibited at All Times) and Schedule i\%
(Parkine Prohibited During Cenain Hours) to specify parkin¢designations throuehout the EBC; and
\'�'HEREAS; this recommendation and other infomiation in Qie Citv En�ineer-s report has
been fully considered by the Cii�- Council.
\'O\\': THEREFORE, the Ci�� Council of the City of Chula Vista does he;zb�� ordain as
follo«�s:

That the proposed p;oject has been re��ie�ved for compliance uith the Califomia
E;,vi;onmental Quality .4ct (CEQA} and that the City Council on its independent judgment afrer
fulty considering all in{ormation presen[ed herebv determines that the project, ti�hich consists oi
allo�3�in� restricti��e parking throughout most of the EBC; qualines for a C1ass I (c) Categorical

The City Council oi the Cin of Chula \%ista intends this Ordinance to cupplement; not to
duplicate or contradict, applicable state a��d federal la"� and this Ordinance shall be construed in
lisht of that intent.
V. EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall take effect and be in fisll force on the thirtieth da�� from and aner its
final adoption.
