Mark Gregory. Chula Vista resident. announced an upcoming potluck and dance by the Chula
Vista Filipino-American Dance Club.
Theresa Acerro, Chula Vista resident, spoke in opposition to the proposed aboveeround power
lines at the planned energ~~ substation.

Cite Manaser Sandoval announced the Public Safet~~ Workshop of August 1, 2013. He also
stated Fire Chief Hanneman would be prepared to provide information regarding expediting the
implementation of the Advanced Life Support program at the workshop.

Mayor Cox presented the proposed 20li/2014 Legislative Program.

11. COUNCILMEMBERS' COMMENTS
Deputy Mayor Bensoussan announced the following events: Installation of playground
equipment by Kaboom! at Hilltop Park, the Living Coast Discovery Center's annual fundraiser.
Bayfront Powwow, Chula Vista Day of the San Diego Repertory Theatre. and Harbor Fest.
Councilmember Aguilar thanked Ms. Acerro for presenting the information on the proposed
energy substation and stated she would consider the project further.
ADJOURNMENT
At 3:05 p.m., Mayor Cox adjourned the meeting to the next Regular City Counci] Meeting on
August 6, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers.
