RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED ANliEXATION
TO THE CITY OF alULA VISTA AND alULA VISTA CITY
SClOOL DISTIlICl 0 IN THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO. STATE
OF CALIPOBNIA TO BE KNOWN AS
ALLIED CON'IRACTORS ANNEXATION
WHEREAS on the 12th day of
June. 1961
there was
~- filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Chala Vista a
written petition for the annexation top incorporation and inclusion in,
the City of Chula Vista of certain uninhabited territory particularly
· described in said petition. and hereinafter described, located in the
Count, of San Diego. State of California, pursuant to the Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, as amended, and
WRE~~~S said petition was signed by the owners of not less than

value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll' of the County of

of Chula Vista, as follows:
THAT pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, as amended:

Diego contiguous to the City of Chula Vista,

1961 at the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.I.I.. in the Council Chamber in
the City Ball. Civic Center. Cbula Vista. California. at a regular meet=
ing of the City Council of said City. any person owning real property
within sucb territory proposed to be annexed and baving any objections
to the proposed annexation. may appear before tbe City Council and show
canse why sucb territory should not be so annexed,
At any time not later tban tbe said hour set for bearing
objections to tbe proposed annexation, any owner of property within tbe
territory proposed to be annexed may file written protest against the
proposed annexation,

the property affected tberebyand the description and area of such
property in general termao
BE IT FUKTBER RESOLVED. that the City Clerk o~ said City be,
and he is hereby directed tv cause a copy of this resolution to be
publiBhed at least twice. but not oftener than once a week. in the
official newspaper of sa1d City. to=wit: The Chula Vista Star=Newsp a
newspaper of general circulation published in said City, and also in a
newspaper of general circulation published outside of the City but 10
tbe County in whicb is located the territory proposed to be annexeda
said publication to be complete at least 20 days prior to the date set
for the hearingc
Said City Clerk sball also cause written notice of such
proposed annexation to be mailed to each person to whom land witbin the
territory proposed to be annexed 1s assessed 111. the last equalized County
assessment roll available on the da~e these proceedings are initiated.
at the address shown on said assessment roll. or as known to said Clerk.
and to any person who has filed his name and address and the designation
of the lands in which he has any interest. either legal or equitable,
with said Clerke In the event any land within the territory proposed ~o
be annexed is owned by the County of San Diego. said Ci~y Clerk ohall
