Gentlemen:
The Horton Construction Company,and Margo Builders, Inc. do
hereby request repaytnent on one-half of that portion of sewer being
const~ucted in "J" Street in the City of Chula Vista, California,
lying in front of the Subdivision known as Hilltop Estate s. Said
sewer consists of 657.59 lin. ft. of 8" V. C. @ $4..00 per lin. ft. and
(2) two manholes @ $305.00 each. These prices are actual construc-
tion bids as furnished by the V. R. De'nnis Construction Company, and
verified below.

SUBJECT: Resol~tjon determining need for and benefits of sewer
construction.
III On May 16,1961, the Council approved the final map of
Hi I I top Est ate s,.
(2) Sewer 'facll itles to serve this subdivision will Include
installation of sewer main on "J" Street adjacent to the
subdlv i slone
(3) The sewer ma in to be installed on "J" Sfreet wi II ser,ve
~roperties on the North side of "J" Street, which are
not included in the subdivision.,
(4) The subdivider has submitted a letter requesting that a
repayment contract be established to guarantee hisre-
payment of co~ts for that portion of the sewer which will
be of benefit to properties beyo~d the subdivision
boundary.
IS) The office of the City Attorney has prepared the necessary
documents to establish a repayment contract.
[6) The resolution to be cons Idered at t he May, 23rd. meeting
establl shes the need for cons truct ion of t he sewer, and
the fact that the construction wil I be of benefit to others.
(7) Following construction, a resolution determining the exact
costs and benefits received will be submitted, ,as well as
the actual repayment contract.
(8) The documents and procedures herein referred to weredevel-
oped by Mr. Kugler to Insure the validity and legality of
repayment contracts.
