RESOLUTION OF 'lHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' CHULA
VISTA ABANDONING EASEMENT AND ,AUTHORIZING EXECI1IICfoI
OF QUI T CLAIM DEED .TO RAYMCfoID 'D. & PA1RICIA F" SCALA

WHEREAS, Raymond D. & Patricia F.Scala, husband and
wife, are O\iners of certain property located in the City of
ChulaVista known as: Lot 35, Fairway View Subdivision, Map
No. 3341, 'and
WHEREAS, there exists upon said property an easement
for the purpose of public utilities described as:
The Westerly six (6) feet of Lot 35 of Fairway View'
Subdivision as said lot is shown on map of said SUbdivision
filed for record as Map No. 3341 on the 21st day of December
1955, in the Office of the County.Recorder of San Diego County,
and,
I~EAS. no public utility has intention of using said
easement as evidenced by a letter from the San Diego Gas & Electric
Company dated May 9, 1961; a quitclaim deed from the Pacific' -
Telephone and Telegraph Company dated May 2, 1961; and a quit-
claim deed from the Cal ifornia Water & Telephone Company, dated
May 17, 1963, copies of whiCh are filed herewith and attached
hereto, and,
WHEREAS, said owner has requested tlla t the City of
Chula Vista does hereby abandon the easement ,hereinabo've referred
