HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1963-3112 RESOLUTION No. 3112 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA OF TOBIAS ANNEXATION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: That pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 : NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the proposed annexation to, and incorporation and inclusion in, the City of Chula Vista of certain uninhabited territory in the County of San Diego contiguous to the City of Chula Vista. The boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed to the City of Chula Vista are more particularly described as follows: - PACE!. At any time not later than the said hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, any owner of property within the territory proposed to be annexed may file written pro~est against the proposed annex- at ion. Such protest shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of the property affected thereby and the description and area of such property in general terms. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that proceedings are hereby initiated by . ; the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, and that the said City Council desires said annexation for the following reasons: 1. The uninhabited territory proposed to be annexed is contiguous to the City of Chula Vista, and in the path of the natural expansion of the residential district of the said City. 2. The said City Council desires the development of this unin- habited territory, so far as possible, to conform to the minimum standards established by the subdivision, sanitation and building ordinances of the City of Chula Vista.
