HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1997-18635 RESOLUTION NO. 18635 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROPRIATING ~156,000 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED FUND BALANCE OF THE PUBLIC LIABILITY TRUST FUND FOR SETTLEMENT OF CLAIMS AS MAY BE AUTHORIZED BY CITY COUNCIL THROUGH JUNE 30, 1997 WHEREAS, it is necessary to reimburse the Insurance (Department 0700) budget for emergency unanticipated settlement payments made on behalf of the Public Liability Fund and provide for claims and expenses that may be authorized by the City Council through the end of the fiscal year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby appropriate ~156,000 from the unappropriated fund balance of the Public Liability Trust Fund to Account 100-0700-5441 for settlement of claims as may be authorized by the City Council through June 30, 1997.
