EIR-76-1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ADOPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT WHEREAS, Kenneth Green and Raymond Vellinga, proponents of projects, including duplexes and multiple family structures, north of Quintard Street at Tobias Drive, wish to receive approval of tentative subelivision maps and precise plans, and dJHEREAS, the proponents provided the Planning Department staff with the necessary data for the preparation of a draft Environmental Impact Report, and WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Committee of the City of Chula Vista issued for public review a draft Environmental Impact Report on said projects on April 15, 1976, and WHEREAS, legal notice of the availability of said draft Environmental Impact Report was given on April 18, 1976, and notice of completion was filed with the Secretary of Resources for the State of California, and WHEREAS, said draft Environmental Impact Report was available for review and scrutiny fora period in excess of 30 days, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista held a public hearing on said draft Environmental Impact Report on May 24, 1976. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLL04JS: From the facts presented to the Planning Commission, the Commission finds that said Environmental Impact Report for the Green and Vellinga projects has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, the California Administrative Code and the Environmental Review Policy of the City of Chula Vista, and hereby adopts said Environmental Impact Report as the City of Chula Vista's final Environmental Impact Report on said project. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA this 14th day of June, 1976, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Commissioners Pressutti, Floto, Chandler, Johnson, Smith and Starr NOES: None ABSENT: None ~'~~.~,r~-.
