RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ADOPTING
AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
WHEREAS, the Chula Vista Public Works Department submitted an application
for a draft Environmental Impact Report on the proposed alternatives regarding
the alignment and widening of Telegraph Canyon Road and associated drainage
improvements, and
WHEREAS, said application for draft Environmental Impact Report was given
independent review and analysis by the Environmental Review Section of the
Planning Department, and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Committee of the City of Chula Vista
issued for public review a draft Environmental Impact Report on said project on
January 13, 1977, and
WHEREAS, legal notice of the availability of said draft Environmental
Impact Report was given on January 73, 1977, and
WHEREAS, a notice of completion was filed with the Secretary of Resources
for the State of California on January 14, 1977, and
WHEREAS, said draft Environmental Impact Report was available for review and
scrutiny fora period in excess of 30 days, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista held a
public hearing on said draft Environmental Impact on February 23, 1977.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
From the facts presented to the Planning Commission, the Commission finds
that said Environmental Impact Report for proposed alternatives regarding the
alignment and widening of Telegraph Canyon Road :and associated drainage improve-
ments has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality
Act of 1970, as amended, the California Administrative Code and the Environmental
Review Policy of the City of Chula Vista, and hereby adopts said Environmental
Impact Report as the City of Chula Vista's final Environmental Impact Report on
said project.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA
this 23rd day of February, 1977, by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Commissioners Pressutti, Starr, Renneisen, G. Johnson, R. Johnson,
Smith and Chandler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
