EIR-78-1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION ADOPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT WHEREAS, Poletta Sue Webb has requested approval of a tentative subdivision map for a project involving the eventual construction of ten single family dwelling units, and WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Committee of the City of Chula Vista conducted Initial Study 77-53 and determined that the project could have a substan- tial impact on the environment and therefore, required that an environmental impact report be prepared on the project, and WHEREAS, the applicant submitted the necessary information for the City of Chula Vista to prepare a draft of said Environmental Impact Report, and WHEREAS THE Environmental Review Section of the Planning Department prepared said draft Environmental Impact Report and it was issued. by the Environmental Review Committee on September 9, 1977, and WHEREAS, notice of the availability of said draft Environmental Impact Report was given through a newspaper of general circulation on September 11, 1977, and a notice of completion was filed with the Secretary of Resources for the State of California, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Chula Vista held a public hearing on said draft Environmental Tmpact Report on October 12, 1977. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: From the facts presented to the Planning Commission, the Commission finds that EIR-78-1 evaluating the impact of the proposed subdivision has been prepared in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, the California Administrative Code and the Environmental Review Policy of the City of Chula Vista, and hereby certifies the same, and further that the Commission will consider the information in said document as it reaches a decision on the project. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY PLANNING COP1MISSTON OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA on the 12th day of October, 1977, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Commissioners Pressutti, R. Johnson, Smith, Chandler, G. Johnson, O'Neill and Renneisen NOES: None ABSENT: None Chairman ATTEST: Secretary
