RESOLUTION OF IHE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION) ADOPTING
AN ENVIROtdMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
WHEREAS, a Draft Environmental Impact Report was filed by Robinhood
Homes, Inc. on the 9th day of January, 1973, and
WHEREAS, Robinhood Homes, Inc. requested consideration of the Draft
Environmental Impact Report as the City of Chula Vista's Environmental
Impact Report in the consideration of a tentative subdivision map and a
precise plan for the project area reducing minimum lot sizes while maintaining
an overall density in conformance with existing zoning of the property, and
WHEREAS,said Draft Environmental Impact Report was posted and available
for public scrutiny and review for a period of twenty working days, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission set the time and place fora hearing
to consider said Environmental Impact Report, and notice of said hearing,
together with its purpose, was given by the publication in a newspaper of
general circulation in the City at least 10 days prior to the date of said
hearing, and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held at said time and place, namely 7:00 p.m.,
February 21, 1973, in the Council Chamber, Civic Center, 276 fourth Avenue,
before the Planning Commission and said hearing was thereafter closed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
From the facts presented to the Commission, the Commission finds that, in
accordance with the Environmental Quality Act of 1970, said Draft Environmental
Report of Robinhood Homes, Inc. on a tentative subdivision map and precise plan
fora project located north of Allen School Lane, to the west of Otay Lakes
Road, consisting of 73.4 acres of which 26.7 acres will be used for residential
lots, 12.1 acres will be utilized for public streets, 30 acres reserved for
permanent open space, and 4.6 acres reserved for park purposes, is hereby adopted
as the City of Chula Vista's Environmental Impact Report on said subdivision
map and precise plan, with the inclusion of the minutes of the public hearing as
Appendix D of the report.
PASSED and APPROVED by the CITY PLANNING COMMISSION of CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA
this 21st day of February, 1973, by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Members Whitten, Chandler, Macevicz, Wilson, Rice, Rudolph and Swanson
